The purpose of this Society shall be to advance the science of Radiologic Technology to assist in establishing and maintaining a high standard of education and training, to evaluate the quality of patient care, and to improve the welfare and socioeconomic condition of Radiologic Technologists. The purposes shall not be restricted by any consideration of nationality, race, color, sex, or creed.

The I.S.R.T. Board of Director's recently voted to add On-Line Continuing Education as a member-only benefit. There will be 6 c.e. hours available to you beginning with your next membership renewal, or by joining membership. Extra c.e. courses may be purchased for $15/each through the I.S.R.T. website. 2013 National Radiologic Technologists Week
On October 31, 2013, a group of Radiologic Technologists and three students were in attendance when Gov. Terry Branstad signed the Proclamation recognizing the 2013 National Radiologic Technologists Week.
