Candidate for Office Guidelines
The ISRT welcomes those interested in a leadership role on the Board of Directors. Meetings are held summer, fall, winter, and spring. Actively Registered Technologists are eligible for the office of President-Elect, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Secretary. Officers must be an ASRT and ISRT member.
Students in the Imaging Sciences are eligible for the Appointed Positions on the Board of Directors; they must be ISRT members.
Secretary and 2nd Vice President are entry-level leadership roles. A minimum of one year Board experience is required for 1st Vice President and President-Elect.
Automatic elevation is in place from election as President-Elect to President, and Jr. Executive Committee Member to Executive Committee Chairperson.
The Iowa Affiliate delegates to the ASRT Governance & House of Delegate Meeting, held annually in June, are the Jr. Executive Committee Member and President. The alternate will be selected from interested individuals with completed applications submitted.
